You know what needs building.
You just haven't got the people for it.
Rent one or two senior engineers by the month. We work out what's needed, build it, write down how it works, and hand it over as yours. Or we skip all that and add hands to a team that already has the plan.
For work that doesn't justify a permanent hire. A team with a senior operating layer, rented by the month.

WHAT WE GET ASKED FOR
- Automating something still done by hand, whether that's configuring a tool, writing something custom, or a bit of both
- An internal tool the company has wanted for two years and never had the people for
- A small application, built properly and handed over
- A customer-facing piece your team hasn't got the specific experience for
- Extra hands through a peak, or to cover a gap while you hire
- Speed on a build your team already started, for a window with an end date

It isn't going to happen on its own.
Hiring is slow, permanent and hard to reverse, and most of these jobs don't justify it. A tool you'll need built once. A skill your team needs twice a year. Four months of extra hands. None of those is a headcount, and all of them are real work.
So it stays on the list. And every month it stays there, it costs the same as it cost last month.
You've probably been here.
A customer calls about an order that never arrived. You check the automation. It's been reporting success every morning since it stopped working.
Or: the team ships fine, but nobody has moved data out of a twenty-year-old system before, and the one time somebody tried it took a fortnight and then stopped.
Or: the team is the right size for a normal quarter, and this isn't a normal quarter. A migration with a date on it, an audit, a customer who signed bigger than expected.
WHAT WE DO
rent an engineer
You rent one or two of our senior engineers by the month, split however you like. They work on your calendar, on whatever you need built, and what they build stays yours.
Where something is being done by hand, we count what it costs in hours before we start and count it again at the end. If the number didn't move, we say so. Where the job is a tool, an application or a piece of a roadmap your team already owns, we work to whatever your team already measures.
No fixed-scope promises we'd have to guess at. No stack you can't hire for afterwards. A written status every Friday, including the weeks when the answer is no progress and here's why.
Which one sounds like you
WE DON'T HAVE DEVELOPERS
Ideas about how technology could help, and nobody to build them. Often something you automated yourself that broke.
WE HAVE DEVELOPERS, BUT NOT THIS ONE THING
A good team with one angle it doesn't have. Not worth a permanent hire for a fraction of a role.
WE NEED MORE HANDS, FOR A WHILE
A capable team and a spike with a start and an end. More capacity, not more headcount.
ON EVERY ENGAGEMENT
The Operating Promise
- every friday
- A written status, in your language, including the weeks where the answer is no progress and here's why.
- four hours
- First reply from a person within four business hours. One hour if production is down, with a named escalation.
- two people
- Two engineers understand every system we touch. Never only one.
- no lock-in
- A standard, boring, proven stack, named up front. You own the code and you can take it to anyone.
We're new as a company. The work isn't.
We haven't got client case studies yet, and we're not going to borrow anybody else's. What we can show you is what this team has already shipped and run in production.
- CodeSentinel, an enterprise platform running 14 specialised LLM agents in parallel
- NexusGraph, a distributed graph database written in Go
- mettaCofounder.ai, built end to end including the full Stripe subscription lifecycle
- Loyalisto, a SaaS loyalty platform using Apple and Google Wallet passes with QR ordering integration
- A freelance build for a German engineering firm in Munich, delivered on time with no post-launch bugs
